The Analysis of the Effect of Welfare Facilities for the Elderly with Dementia on Land Value in Seoul, South Korea

This study examines the impact of dementia welfare facilities on land value in Seoul. Analyzing four cases, it found that land value increases within 0-300m of facilities were lower than regional averages. Differences were statistically significant based on administrative boundaries rather than distance. These findings highlight the need for compensation plans reflecting administrative divisions and provide evidence to address opposition based on land value concerns, contributing to improved dementia welfare as demand rises in South Korea.
